What Is Holding You Back?

Have you ever really stopped to think about it?

Let's get the surface level answers out of the way to start. Time. Knowledge. Resources. Money.

We all face similar circumstances. Similar push back in our lives. Why do some people just get it? What is it that makes an individual succeed and move forward in life?

Are you feeling stuck? Like your feet are glued to the ground and your body wants to move forward but there's a weight, a force holding you where you are?

You're not alone. We all face this feeling at different times. Ask yourself again, what's holding you back?

Is it the belief in yourself? That you are worth it? That you are capable? Is there a time when you doubted this?

We can all close our eyes and think of a story, of a place in time where we have thought "others can do this, sure, but me? ME? Simple old me? Can I possibly make this happen and actually do it?"

Fear. Doubt. The Unknown. The uncertainty can be paralyzing if you let it.

Wrap all that up and shove it into a busy world and it's easy to move on in life...without actually moving. While being stuck.

Believe in yourself.

Know that you are strong. Smart. Able to conquer the tallest mountain. The biggest obstacle.

You can do this.

Ponder today what is holding you back. Before you go to bed, write out a list. Keep writing until nothing else freely flows from your pen.

Tomorrow, take your list and work toward solving the surface level obstacles. Write out a schedule, budget, research who you need on your team to get past the little hurdles.
